Registered Manager & Head of Quality of Compliance
Angela Hamlin Health Care Professionals is a growing private health care organisation, founded by Angela Hamlin, who has secured a reputation as a leading figure in providing nursing and care for clients in their own homes for more than 20 years.
We are now looking for a full-time Registered Manager & Head of Quality and Compliance who will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the organisation as well maintenance and management of the company's policies and procedures so that they may exceed CQC inspection and compliance standards. The Registered Manager & Head of Quality & Compliance is legally responsible and accountable for compliance with the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations. The role will require achieving and ensuring safe practice and adhering to the regulations set out by the CQC.
Your role will encompass working with support staff, potential candidates, existing and new service users. You will also be required to manage the office and service operations and to report crucial issues to the Managing Director.
You will also take the lead on all compliance matters including CQC and Local Authority requirements, Internal Quality Audits, Safeguarding and complaints., and will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of robust quality management systems ensuring ISO statutory duties and requirements are fulfilled and exceeded.

Requirements
-
Previous managerial and leadership experience in the private health care sector

Current or previous experience in quality and compliance within the health care sector

Good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to domiciliary care services.

Must have NVQ L5 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification.

Managing the day-to-day administrative duties to facilitate the smooth functioning of the service.
