We are delighted to be sponsoring a Classical Piano Concert in aid of the Friends of the Royal Marsden Hospital at St Luke’s Church, Chelsea on Tuesday 14 May 2024.

 

As a company who has cared for many patients who have suffered from cancer of varying degrees, we are aware of the sterling work the Royal Marsden do, supported by the enormous amount of fund raising done by the Friends.

 

As the latest statistics show that 1 in 2 of us will get cancer, it has more than highlighted the need for us to help and support the Hospital.

 

You will hear about the wonderful connection of Steinway and the acclaimed pianist Min-Jung Kym on the night. I was privileged to go on a private tour of Steinway, London, last week, and can totally support and agree with the healing power of music!

 

You will also hear about the rota of pianists who play the Steinway in the foyer of the Royal Marsden. How comforting that must be for patients, relatives, visitors and staff.

 

Having Dr Sian Williams as the interviewer is another huge bonus. She is not only a journalist and presenter but also a psychologist.

 

We are thrilled to be involved in this really worthwhile cause.
